Everyone is going crazy!

So I went to buy fabric today, so I can make some mei tai's to sell.
I realized that there was no gas in the car, so naturally I pulled into the closest gas station.
Big Mistake! They were out of regular on all the pumps, and cars were starting to line up from around the block. The next 3 gas stations I went to were the same.
WTF! You would think a bomb was coming to hit us. I didn't realize just how crazy things were getting in my own city!?! I knew Houston and everywhere close to the gulf was like this, but I assumed the only effects of the hurricane that Austin would feel was being crowded with traffic, and bad storms.
I didn't think that everyone in our own city was already hurricane frenzied...I guess I should get out of the house more.
